Two members of our lab, Dr. Koichi Hasegawa and Dr. Ling Sun, will be in attendance at the NHLBI Celebration of Progenitor Cell Research and Translation. Both will be participating in the conference and delivering presentations.
Dr. Koichi Hasegawa’s presentation will be about alveolar type 2 cell transplantation and its long-term effect in the murine pulmonary fibrosis model. Dr. Ling Sun will present on the topic of Epithelial Xbp1S expression and how it leads to distal lung Muc5b hyperproduction and the progression of pulmonary fibrosis following injury.
